Refund policy

This Written Return and Refund Policy describes the return and refund processes utilized by SAUVAGE ZSA, SAUVAGE ZSA™ (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") when you visit, use our services, make a purchase in-person, or from sauvagezsa.com (the "Site"), or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). For purposes of this Return and Refund Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user or consumer of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to the Privacy Policy.

Please read our return and refund policy carefully, including the disclaimers. By using and accessing any of the Services, you agree to the content stated herein. If you do not agree to this return and refund policy, please do not use or access any of the Services including the Site. The following terms and conditions apply when you as a consumer, place an order through POS or use sauvagezsa.com and associated pages, shopping sites.

Returns & Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy for online orders only, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return and withdraw your purchase for a full refund less 5% restocking fee. Please note that you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for the return package. Products purchased directly from our Website cannot be exchanged in-person.  Products purchased in-person at pop-up shops or similar shopping experiences are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless an item has a factory defect and you notify the Company within 14 days of purchase date including a copy of your receipt and a picture of item in question and detailed description of defect. Since we procure from over 100 small business partners we cannot offer any warranty whatsoever; there is no warranty on any retail item including apparel, jewelry, or lifestyle products and after the 14-day return window all sales are final. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging within fourteen (14) days of the date on which you received the order. This does not limit your right to carefully open and examine the product. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact SAUVAGE ZSA's customer support at info@sauvagezsa.com. Include a copy of the order invoice or receipt in your correspondence.  Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: PO BOX 4581 SPOKANE, WA 99220 and customers will be responsible for return shipping and a 5% restocking fee reduced from the original purchase price.  We are strict with returns because we strive to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce the externalities associated with returns such as transportation and restocking efforts.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If the product is returned in such a condition that it cannot be restocked, SAUVAGE ZSA reserves the right to deny a refund and charge a fee for the cost of returning the product or deduct an amount from the refund corresponding to the product's decline in value. 

We will pay your refund as promptly as possible, but no later than within 14 days from the date we have received the product and registered the return or you have proven the product has been sent back within the 14 day return policy. The refund will be made to the source of the original purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You, as the consumer, always retain the right to return defective items within one month of the purchase date, provided you make us aware of the defect and the defect must have occurred before the date of sale. Once SAUVAGE ZSA has received your claim, we will process it via email and respond with further instruction.  It is highly recommended that you send your claim as promptly as possible should you notice a damaged or defective item. Your claim is subject to repair, replacement, or refund; however, if a particular product is no longer in stock, you have the right to replace the item with a product of similar design and cost, or the right to be refunded as long as the return occurs within the allotted time frame of one month from date of purchase. 

In the event that no damage or defect as set out in this warranty statement is determined upon SAUVAGE ZSA's examination, your claim will be denied and SAUVAGE ZSA will charge a fee for the cost of returning the product. Any fraudulent attempts will be reported to Authorities Having Jurisdiction. SAUVAGE ZSA reserves the right to not process your claim if a fraudulent intent is suspected. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), artisan fine jewelry, swimwear, and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Items that cannot be returned for safety and/or health reasons will be indicated as non-returnable on the product listing description. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, jewelry, or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Exchanges can only be made on a case-by-case basis and must be coordinated directly with the owner via email info@sauvagezsa.com. 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method less a restocking fee of 5% within 14 business days. As a small batch small business, a restocking fee is necessary to maintain quality standards and efficiently run business. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@sauvagezsa.com and we will respond immediately to the best of our ability. 

Disclaimer

SAUVAGE ZSA has no responsibility for errors in images, product descriptions and specifications, including inaccuracy in pricing, discount codes, inventory stock stated on the Website and/or pricing adjustments (i.e. prices from suppliers or inflation). We reserve the right to correct any such errors and to update or change information at any time. If a price for an item that you have ordered is deemed incorrect, we will notify you immediately and await your approval of the corrected price before processing the order. All pictures on the Website are exclusively deemed illustrations, and such illustrations cannot be guaranteed to reproduce the goods you receive, or the product's exact appearance, origin, or features.

SAUVAGE ZSA is not responsible or liable for any damage caused by your use of the purchased products, and will not be liable for any loss suffered by you as a result of your product use, provided your use has been made in accordance with any applicable user guidelines and with proper care. SAUVAGE ZSA will not be liable for any acts or wrongs of any party related to the sales, compounding, dispensing, manufacturing, or use of any of products or services sold through the Website or in-person. This includes any claim, injury, demand, or judgment based on tort or other grounds (including warranty of merchantability). 

Hold-Harmless Clause

SAUVAGE ZSA including but not limited to its affiliations (owner, employees, vendors, and wholesalers) will not be held liable for the following actions that are caused by the consumer or user of the Services or to another party, such as: risk, danger, injury, or damages.  When using the Website, products, or services related to SAUVAGE ZSA, the consumer agrees to hold SAUVAGE ZSA harmless especially when embarking on an activity or using a purchased item. You may not blame SAUVAGE ZSA or its affiliates for any loss or liability and there is no exemption.
